I’m Rachel Kathrynne. I love a few things: social media, vintage photography, excellent music, classic novels, and using new marketing tactics and technologies to help small businesses and microbusinesses achieve and exceed their goals! I’ve been an avid reader since I was a girl, and soon after I could read I began to love writing. The process of putting words to paper and articulating a given message with clarity and persuasion has always been a fulfilling past time for me.
During my undergraduate years at Baylor University, I decided to turn this hobby into a profession. After graduating summa cum laude in three years from Baylor with a degree in Professional Writing, I took a job at a Fort Worth PR agency as my introduction to the industry. At the same time, I started my M.S. degree in Advertising and Public Relations from Texas Christian University, which I’m thrilled to have completed in May 2011.
Over the past three years, I’ve worked with a variety of clients ranging from Steinway Hall Dallas | Fort Worth | Plano, Eddie V’s Prime Seafood, Casa Manana, Mission Granbury, NanoMaterials Design and Commercialization Center, Charitable Living Inc., the Dallas Academy of Ophthalmology, Sante Center for Healing, Sheraton Fort Worth Hotel & Spa, At Peace Floatation & Massage, Image Setter Ranch, and Blue Moon Granbury. I spent a year putting my passion for writing, public relations, and marketing to work for Marketocracy Inc., an investment research and capital management company as their marketing and public relations coordinator.
In October 2011, I began working as the Development Marketing Manager for Scott & White Healthcare Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Scott & White Healthcare. The combination of working within the nuances of both marketing and philanthropy makes my job an absolute dream. I love the daily challenges and the gratifying rewards of knowing that my contributions help inspire philanthropic support for our healthcare system, which in turn brings transformational care and healing to our communities. Through THE CATALYST magazine, our Faces of Giving newsletter, and a myriad of other collateral pieces and tools I enjoy the privilege of communicating about very real needs matched with beautiful stories of support and generosity.
In my free time, I serve as a communications consultant for Group Proventus.
I love what I do, and I love interacting with people to help streamline their marketing efforts and maximize their results on a budget! Check out what I can do for you, but don’t just take my word for it! See for yourself several examples of work that I’ve done in the past for various clients and let the results speak for themselves.
